What's the biggest age gap between you and a partner / one night fling?

Just wondering. Is 2 years too much? 5? 10 years ? 15? 20?

Do you prefer older or younger and why?

From my observation it seems that men like women younger and women like men older. Typically seems that the difference can vary to as much as 10 years. This is just my observation of the majority of people.

This is because in emotional maturity women are generally ten years or so ahead of men.

The closest I've ever been in age with a partner was about two years. The farthest apart was 7 years older than me, and about 5 years younger.

I had an ex that was 4 years older than me, and now, I'm 3 years older than iomegajaz. He's just young enough to train

Edit: as far as Phily's original question... age is what you make of it, and how mature your partner is. My older sis is about 7 years older than her husband, and sometimes the age difference plays a factor in their marriage. Her husband is just now finding his feet, so to speak, as a husband and father and my sister is finally getting it through her neurotic skull that just because she's older doesn't mean she knows it all.

Theres an age gap of 3 years between me and my girlfriend, thats the farthest age gap i have had in relationship. The closest was something like 6 months or something like that.
