how do i make those cool effects on the slide bars and buttons?

i have figured out some of the basics... most of the pictures i use are made in picture it express2000 but for some reason i cannot get them the correct size. and i want to change the buttons, efeects on all the slidebars and a few other things but I am at a loss as to how

Sorry man i don't know 'picture it express 2000' but why don't u give PSP5 a chance? Its easy with it to resize ur images. If u have problems with the basics of skinning than http://members.nbci.com/_XMCM/wsdski...ing/intro.html is your habour in the tempest
