In Winamp whenever I use the menu (button in the top left hand corner) and go down to the skin list the list is in no real order. I'd just like to know, is it possible to alphabetize the list like in the skin browser. Obviously this isn't urgent but it's kind of irritating for an anal retentive like myself so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alph. Order
Since winamp is using menuses and menu's, winamp mainly controls where it goes and where it is placed.
but...i have a winamp skin creator, and when i make a skin it puts the skin option not at the last entry, but in the middle. e.x. 1. skin two 2. skin three * NEW SKIN 3. skin four 4. skin five 5. skin six i dunno why it does it, but oh well. --anyway....you have my sympothy. i feel your pain. |

The Skins pop up menu adds the skins in the order that you download them.
If you really want to put the pop up menu in some kind of order, you'll need to: Close Winamp. Go into your Winamp folder and create a new folder named 'skins2' or something. Go to your original Winamp\Skins folder, through Windows choose Edit > Select All, then Copy (to copy all of your skins). Then go into the new folder you've just made 'skins2' and select Paste. Once you get all of your skins copied into your new folder, through Windows, go to View > Arrange Icons > Alphabetical (if that's the way you want them). Go back and delete your original Skins folder, then rename your 'skins2' folder to 'Skins'. Start Winamp, and *poof*, your Skins pop up menu should all be in order now! ![]()
