Updates for Pro 5.01

are there any updates for Pro 5.01. And is Winamp like MusicMatch Jukebox, you buy a version but have to continue to pay for updates and upgrades?

Version 5.01 is full of bugs and security issues, all of which have since been addressed. Upgrade to either 5.08d or 5.08e. If you have DRM-protected WMA files you need to play, you will need to install Winamp 5.08e Full. Use Winamp 5.08d Full if you do not have any DRM-protected WMA files.

Winamp 5.08d Full <-- right-click and "Save As" to download installer
Winamp 5.08e Full <-- right-click and "Save As" to download installer

*Note: after the reinstall/upgrade your Winamp Pro key/license will carry over and still be in effect, so to answer your 2nd question, that same license key will always be good as you continue to upgrade in the future. The $14.95 you paid is a one-time charge.
