oooooh dear, it's bust then innit
![]() So long as the .wsz files are in your skins directory (have a peek - are they there?) you should be able to access them. If they're not there - they must be being downloaded to the wrong place. Shift them from wherever they're being put to your skins directory. If they are there and Winamp is unable to see them well, give up and go down the pub I suppose... |

Are you downloading .wsz files or .zip skin files? Like Lynx suggested, Winamp didn't support the .wsz file format until after version 2.24, so if your Winamp is older than that, you really should upgrade to a newer version.
If you have a newer version of Winamp, you should be able to ALT+S to open your Skin Browser, and click on the skin you want Winamp to enable. If there are no skins listed in your Skin Browser, click on the 'Sets Skins Directory' button and make sure the path to your Skins folder is correct. If you're still having problems after trying this, let us know so we can help further

Same Problem
I've got the same problem with the skins not showing up after the download. If I right click on the download link and select "Save Target As" and select the "Skins" directory then the skin is saved properly, but it doesn't work automatically. I've uninstalled Winamp several times, removed everything from Window's registry, but still no luck. I'm using Winamp 2.71. Any ideas? Thanks.

Skin Display Solution
Buffalicious --
I solved my problem by reinstalling Windows IE 5.5. I ran the "ie5setup.exe" file found in the "c:\Windows Update Setup Files" directory. Hope it works for you. Steve C. |

If they're ZIP files, it won't automatically change. Check your Preferences window (Ctrl+P) and make sure there's a Skins item in the list on the left. I've heard of some people not having one.
