Woot!
Tonight was likely the most wonderful night I've had for the longest time I can remember. I may not be making very much sense right now because honestly I am still stunned. Heres how it went down:
Tonight there was a school dance. Not usually big occasions for me, but I went anyway. Why? Because I always do. Its always fun, because, what better natural high is there than Coca-Cola, Loud Music, and Bright Lights all combined together? Anyway, I went, and it started out as usual: mostly hip-hop/rap music, with just the right amount of rock music mixed in. Same crowd thats normally at the dances, and it didn't seem like anything special would happen. But, it went downhill when nobody asked me to dance, nobody invited me to come join their little 'groups' of people. So, I figured that if I didn't get a sign by 10:00 that it was going to start going better, I would call and get a ride home. But, at about 9:55, while I was wandering around, this one girl (lets call her [R]) called out to me, "Hey [J] (that's me), come dance with us!" 'us' being her and a bunch of other girls. So, I figured, why not, I guess this is my sign to not leave. So I went and joined them, and danced together with them for the better part of the evening. But then, it came into the last 10 minutes, and the DJ said that they were gonna wind it down with some more slow songs. I thought "Well, I guess I'd might as well leave now, no point staying to watch people slow-dance. But then, [R] (Who, at this point, I will say is absolutely perfect. She's beautiful, funny, smart, kind, not too shy, but not too outgoing either - you get the picture) said to me, "Hey [J], wanna dance?" So, I, after almost fainting, said "Sure!" And, we danced the last song of the night together! You know, that last paragraph alone made up for all the 13-year-old drunks there. It was really weird. But anyway, that was my best night ever, my shining moment, my bragging-rights for a long time. Hmm, how to make this into a real topic... Hmm, how about: "What was your favourite moment that you have experienced? What is its signifigence?" |

I can honestly say I've never attended any school event besides school itself
They charge like 18 dollars to get into school dances here, but they quit having them because of the "dirty dancing" and sex in the bathroom, stuff like that ![]() You're 13? yeah, i'm back. |

My oldest son is 13 and discovering girls. 2 little hotties came over the other day to say hi to him. It was so adorable, I have never seen him so nervous. If you are still afraid to talk to her why not write her a note -- nothing serious, just a note to say hi. Maybe ask her if she likes her classes or what kind of music she likes. It will break the ice a little more and make it easier for you to approach her. This is soooooooo cute. |

Wow very different from the parties/dances/jams I go to.
Girls just come up and grind on you, there's no asking involved. It's no problem to get like 4 or five numbers in one night. Not to mention a better part of the people ages 13-17 in my city show up. Everybody is high or drunk, or neither but would like to be. Or selling There's cops surrounding the outside of the parties. Just waiting to catch someone with something. Fuck.Besides.. who the hell goes to a school dance. I try as hard as possible to not go out with girls from my school. Makes for awkward situations after the breakup. Well it usually only becomes awkward when you start going out with one of your exes friends or something. ![]() Anywho.. hope you had fun. Great story.. you should definately ask her out if she's interested in you. |

My advice to Jeremiah is dont be afraid of that bulge in your pants, and the strange urges that you felt when you were dancing.

I respect the fact that his english isn't as broken and unstructured like most 13 year olds on the internet, or like how my english is.
I still don't know when the fuck to use a comma. I just throw it in to act as a pause in thought. I guess thats what happens when you write poetry. |

I remember back a few months ago when the same situation happened to me back in January. Greatest feeling in the world to dance with a woman; dare I say I almost like it more than all-out intimacy? Too bad things didn't go any further; I almost asked her out, but changed my mind simply because I lost interest in her; I guess you could say she was the boring type who only liked to have fun late nights.
This is a sig of some nature. |
