Featured skins

Maybe it's just me... but every time I see a new skin promoting a new movie it becomes featured (I cannot name one that wasn't).

Is nullsoft payed to feature these skins?

Its a sad thing but its almost cirtianly payed for it, I rember when movie skins were down there with pron ones, but now there pushed into your face all the time.

So I guess there getting even more like Pron ones...

As for the movie skins, I'm not sure if money is even changing hands. Keep in mind that AOL Time Warner owns this site, and presumably the skins they choose to feature are those based on movies they have some stake in. I'm guessing, though.

I don't download skins anymore. I had a whole bunch of them on my old PC. But now I just have Mmd3 and the default skin.

Right now i'm using Mmd3, but sometimes I use the modern skin if I want a more basic layout...

Most skins don't wow me anymore, so I don't really use anything else.
