Would you stay or would you go.......
Which would you pick for yourself........
A relationship where the sex was fantastic and frequent but the rest sucked. OR A relationship where you felt loved and needed. Everything was fantastic but the sex was horrible? ~ Missy |

That's tough. I think I'd need the sex. But it would suck on its own. So far I've only really had the top one, and I'm sure the sex would have been great had we stayed together till we were a bit older. Damn.

Difficult one, truly though i believe not every relationship should be sex driven, so i would pick the one where you feel loved & needed, plus you could always try improving on the sex.

The second one without a doubt.

Hmm. I posted here but it's disappeared.
Edit: Never mind, forgot to click the button (you try functioning after an exam at 9:30 about "Embedded Systems"). From experience (of both), the second is better. |

Marslow.
I would go for neither option. Fill all my requirements to a reasonable extent or fill none. Logic: I have evolved past my baser instincts and also any needs for being loved etc. However, for children to be nutured properly adults need to set the example and hence both are needed in the long term. |

I would preferably go with the second one, although if I were in a relationship of the first type I'd probably be happy enough to stick with it unless it was tearing me apart.

Option 2.
Like someone said, you could always work on the sex. You can't say the same for two people who don't get along. |

#2: sex can be taught.
If not to her, then still #2; Spending 24/7 in bed (or other places) would eventually become boring too Jesus loves you [yes, you] so much, he even died for you so that you will not need to die, but live forever |

had a short affair with a woman who had been abused by her ex BF , sex was a disaster (when it finally came to having sex, the first few months looked more like therapy sessions in bed) |

After being single as long as I was, bad sex is better then no sex at all. Plus, sex usualy can be improved, if both parties are open minded. I used to laugh at the sex how-to books, but they provide some very useful and fun information. (As long as you avoid the British ones, leave it to British acidemics to make sex boring).

both are essential.
however you can always masturbate but you can't get the loving you need by yourself. [edit] you cannot improve on sex the way the situation is given, it's one or the other, read the question right. and if you could then you could also work on the relationship. "Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev. 19:27. How should they die?" |

i'd go with option 2 because a relationship shouldn't be centered around just sex.

How can sex be horrible?
And if the relationship is so great - you guys should be able to talk it out together, know what works best for the both of you. None of this pussyfooting around (Excuse that pun, dear lord that was not intended) but if the relationship is good, must mean the communication is good. just as feathery as ever | portfolio | a poignant quote |

I'd go for #2. Sex can be improved. Human relationships, if that bad, generally can't get much better. Plus, if you're not getting out of a relationship where everything but the sex "sucked", (presuming you don't have some external cohesive force like children), each of you would probably be (intentionally or not) playing off a "weakness" in the other (otherwise one of you would break it off, right?) Co-dependency is a good example. Freedom of speech is the basic freedom of humanity. When you've lost that, you've lost everything. 1\/\/4y 34|<$p4y 1gp4y 33714y, 0d4y 0uy4y? | Roses are #FF0000; Violets are #0000FF; chown -R ${YOU} ~/base The DMCA.
