web site woes

man i think that the winamp site should look more tech.. this holiday bs just dun work.. i was a big fan of winamp n even had them as my start page.. but now i had to put cnn as my web page...wut a joke... my html skills arent too good but u guys put alot into this program n it deserves a better site, for the fans n the program...

Dude does it really matter what the site looks like?? as longs as you know what your doing to get around the site and its kinda plain and simple (Like it is) then it dont matter do it?? and it isnt exactly ugly looking is it!

your pretty much sayn the site can be ugly as long as u kno how to get around it... that makes sense .. i think with all the time they put into the program the site deserves a more hi tech flash4 site or sometn a lil more tech.. sorry to bust ur buttons.. 'P

Well i think that if the site was flash 4 (I think the newest version is 5), but i dont think flash will be very good for the site, becuase i know most of the people that use this site only have 56k modems(Including myself) and there are some who have 28.8k's it will take forever for us to access a simple forum page. i personnally dont like that u probably dont really care about that becuase you've probably got DSL or Cable or something "Kool" just cuz some people can get flash pages to open really quickly its not fair on the others, i myself wouldnt really be impressed if winamp.com was to become flash

no way.. im on a 56k.. if anyone who goes online is still on anything slower than that.... '( sux 4 them.. the internet isnt made for 56k any more LOL sure as hell doesnt seem like it..

Another thing to keep in mind is that this is just an update to the current site. When they unveil their new site, you're supposed to be able to pick your own colors and things for it
