Question about http link

well I have completely flunked out of maki 101. so can anyone tell me how or if I can make a url link button with out using maki script. maybe by using xml. or can I use a file that is not compressed because I can not find a compiler that works to compress a .m file into a maki. my skin is nearlyly ready except for making the url link button and adding script to make it work and readable to winamp.
