http Digest Auth in winamp?

Does Winamp support the http digest authentication mode? I'd like to create a dynamic m3u list that can connect to files on an apache server using digest mode. I already can create a playlist of files I'm just lookling for how to fit digest in to this.

From everything I can tell, it doesn't seem to. If Winamp sees a digest header, it seems to conclude it can't access the stream and gives up. It really would be nice if it supported digest authentication. From the implementations I've seen, the code to do it is very simple.
