How can uninstall the ugly crap default skins?

I hate it whenever these ugly ass skins show up in my random skins rotation.


Whoever designed the pieces of crap default modern and classic skins, then provided no option to uninstall them, deserves a couple bullets between the eyes.




PS: Is there anyway at all to uninstall them??

Delete the folder 'Winamp Modern' in your Winamp\skins folder.
You can't delete the default classic skin since that one is hardcoded in winamp.exe.

ya know .. if you knew how long it took Sven to create the modern skin you prolly wouldn't want to put a bullet or two between his eyes .. go use foobar or WiMP for all I care

I like the classic skin :/

It's very easy to use and unobtrusive.

If only DrO were around, maybe he could write a program to cause Winamp to bypass the Default Modern and Classic skins during random rotation, for those that do not like them (not me )

I think we should be careful, lest we get caught up in fixing all winamp "problems" with plugins

some user's having a bit more tolerance against default things like these skins would be better but i really don't get this random skin rotation thing, guess i must be missing out on something

IMO, these COULD be worked around with plugins, because they aren't bugs with base Winamp code. If the devs could come up with a way to bypass the two default skins for those who have them installed and do not like them and use random rotation(i know you can uninstall Modern, but not Classic), that's another story...
