Software to Archive / Record Line-In Audio? (Live Club Broadcast)
Hey Everyone,
I'm looking for a program to record audio through my laptop's line-in. Searching Google and HotScripts gave tons of results, but I'm hoping someone has used one in the past and is happy with it. I'll be recording live DJ sets at one of our club broadcasts, so it'll go on for hours. A program that is relatively light (and gotta be stable) would be really good. Something to make mp3's on the fly and maybe even break them up into 30min or 60min files automatically. I have stuff like Sound Forge, but it's so massive that I'm pretty sure it's not the best thing for this. I'm guessing a small specific program just for line-in recordings is best. Any suggestions? Thanks so much, rg. PS: This thread is NOT about stream ripping, please do not delete it. PPS: Yes, I know DSP 1.8.0 can archive directly; that's not what I'm looking for. Just a simple line-in recorder.
