only titles shown on my ipod mini

hi guys ,
when I use to upload songs to my ipod mini, I just see the titles of the songs on it. What do I have to change to see "artist - title" on my ipod?

You don't see "artist - title" on your iPod. Not using ml_ipod or iTunes or any other iPod program.

Have you tried to go into the "Artists" menu and look there by Artist?

I see "artist - title" on my ipod by using itunes. Is there no way to get the same effect by using the winamp plugin??

Unless you have really screwy tags, no, you don't. At least, you're certainly not supposed to.

Where are you seeing "artist - title" at, exactly?

album: Dead Letters
year: 2003
genre: Rock

When I upload this song to my ipod and go to the playlist in which the song is uploaded, I see: "The Rasmus - In The Shadows". When I upload this song with the winamp plugin, I just see: "In The Shadows". My question is, what I have to do to see the artist and the title of each song in my playlists.

I use iTunes, and I don't see "Artist - Title" in my playlists. The iPod is only supposed to show you the title when looking at the song directly. The only way you will see what you're claiming to see is if, in iTunes, you see:

title: The Rasmus - In The Shadows

As the metadata. Point being that what you're seeing on the iPod is not what you're supposed to be seeing, therefore it's not a bug of ml_ipod. It's not capable of showing you "artist - title" on the iPod, nor is it supposed to. You've got bad data in iTunes if you do see that on the iPod. If you had the right data in iTunes, you'd see something different on the iPod.

So it's an error of itunes or my itunes config? Do you prefer to see just the titles of the songs in the playlist? It could be better, because I often see just two or three letters of the titles in my playlist and when I select a song I see "Artist - Title" and a line under that the Artist again, that doesn't make sence
