Scrolling current song of playlist in Winshade mode?
Good morning all --
I scanned through the SDK, and didn't really see anything of note, so I figured I'd ask the people that know -- I'm looking to scroll the current song in the 'Winamp playlist' window when both the player and the playlist are in Winshade mode. http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=217623 is what I'm looking at; see the screenshot attachment there for an example. This way, the user can leave the player 'always on top' on his/her desktop in a minimal fashion, but the current song in the playlist bar will scroll, much like the song title does in the taskbar when that option is enabled. Obviously dragging the playlist window width out a bit works to show the whole song title, but I'd like to keep it as compact as possible. Is this feasible in the SDK via a plugin (which I'd try to write), or does the Winamp code have the playlist text hardcoded to 'display' only (and not scroll)? |
