Ml-ipod has stopped working fully with my 512 shuffle. Songs transfer using autofill or "send to" but then they don't appear in the ML pane (actually, a few do appear, seemingly at random) even though my ipod appears full and I can listen to the tunes normally on the shuffle. The songs have been transferred but ML-ipod is not seeing them.

I've tried:
probing for lost music (this worked twice, then stopped working)
un/reinstalling Ml-ipod 1.20 pluggin
reformatting my shuffle using Ml-ipod (Error: "could not format ipod")
reformatting using ipod updater 2005-03-23 (Error: "Disk write error")

The only way to get my ipod back to tabula rasa is to start the ipod service and run itunes (which of course wipes it clean).

I did this twice but it still doesn't work with ml-ipod.

Any suggestions?
