I'm looking for pointers on how to implement a RealPlayer embeded player that points to a Shoutcast server. Has anyone done this before? Any links to sites that discuss customization of embeded players?

Go to Shoutclub.com. There is one you can use there. It should be under the tools section in the menu on the left.

Embeded Player

I am familure with the embeded player on Shoutclub.com. It works well with Shoutcast. What I am looking for is information on how I can build my own customized embeded player.

but it says here...

only copying what in the traoubleshooting FAQ:
http://www.shoutcast.com/support/doc...vlayout=normal

second question:
L2. I'm having problems tuning in with RealPlayer

Answer: RealPlayer does not support the full gamut of SHOUTcast stations. For
optimal listening, download and install the Winamp audio player for Windows
(http://www.winamp.com) or one of the other recommended players listed in
the shoutcast.com online documentation.

sorry if i confused someone, but now i'm confused

'RealPlayer does not support the full gamut of SHOUTcast stations'

That doesn't say it doesn't work

I have been able to use RealPlayer with my streams with no problem, but then again, I'm not doing anything fancy!

I'll agree that I have less problems listening to shoutcast streams with winamp than real player. However, I do not beleive that winamp can't be embedded in a web page, therefor real player and windows media player are the only choices (and real player works a lot better that wmp).

I use Winamp, Realplayer & MediaPlayer. WinAmp is not embeded into my site, although RealPlayer & MediaPlayer are.
