I just started up a new radio/music news site at http://www.digitalgunfire.com
I would appreciate people leaving input on the design or station content either here, via email or on the site forum. Thanks to anyone who participates! [Edited by Shirow on 12-19-2000 at 02:28 PM] |

I just broused your main page. Very nice. Your site looked good at 640x480 all the way up to 1024x768. Well blended colors, and very easy navigation. I only looked at your main page with IE v5.5

I'm going to be running a series of interviews with musicians on the site soon - I already have 5 or 6 lined up and would like a couple more to flesh out the week - if anyone here is a (competent!) musician that creates electronic or industrial tracks, get in touch with me if you'd like to see your name in lights..

I guess I'll tell you the one real negative I see. Netscape (Although kicks IE butt :P ) is much more picky about files. Namely the .pls files that are used for winamp. You have to set a mime-type in order for it to work. This is relatively simple if your web server runs apache. Just put the following in a file called .htaccess (note the . at the front) and upload it to the directory that has the link to the .pls file (unfortunately, this will only work in that directory, unless someone else can say how to make it apply to all directories).
code: then when someone clicks on a .pls files, the webserver will tell them "its a playlist" and not a plain text file. Except for that, its a really good site with a good design and layout (Netscape, 1280X1024). In fact I have one question, the anime character in the lower right hand side, Did you make that or found it somewhere, if so, where? That's just a really cool picture

Ah, thanks, will add the mime type and see if it works
![]() One of my friends drew it for me - he works on a mod I'm creating (www.halflife.net/ghost) and I just bugged him for a couple of days until he drew it..
