won't display title and artist

Hi. Guess I am a newb. But I scoured the help stickies and docs and everything and did not find my question.

I'm not trying to make skins or a radio station or anything like that. I just want to see the current song title and artist of whatever shoutcast station I'm listening to.
When I first installed Winamp a few weeks ago, it was showing the title and artist. Now it just scrolls the station name and tag whatever thingie.
This is not just for 1 station. It's for every station I connect to, whether found in the media library or elsewhere.

Someone said there is a box that has to be checked in my options, but I've tried every box I could find LOL.

Please help me!

Did you install any third party decoder plug-ins like Mp3Pro? The Mp3Pro plugin is know to do that.

Prefs(Ctrl+P) > Input > Nullsoft MPEG decoder > Streaming tab.

Toggle the settings in the 'Streaming Extensions' box.

I checked the 'streaming extentions' thing and both boxes were already checked. Then I saw some mp3pro plugin so I uninstalled it, and now I see my song titles! Thank you so much for your help guys.

I have a similar problem. But it concerns mp3s.
When I load and or play random mp3s, the ID3v1 Tag/ID3v2 Tag load blank. At first I thought it was because I was burning these mp3s through Windows Media Player. Eventually I saw that, that wasn't the case.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's a WMP bug.

I looked into the preferences in WMP. When I look to uncheck those boxes, they were already unchecked to begin with.
Windows sure likes the penis.
