9 < 10 : nine is less than ten
10 > 9 : ten is greater than nine. It is read from left to right. Never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes hurtling down the highway. |

What's the flaw about example 3 I may ask? The popup is no popup, but a DHTML <div> tag... I didn't see any pop-up at example number 2 there. Example 4 and 5 are also not pop-ups, as they also are DHTML <div> tags.
Example 4 could have been stopped due to it's dimensions, which nothing but banners usually have, but Opera don't have ad-blocker, only pop-up blocker. You can choose to block some or all windows. Did you put on pop-up blocker at all when you ran those pages? Result 1 was a flaw, I can agree. Seen it other places too. It also suggests you have "Java" turned off pfft... this is really amatuer stuff lol Who uses Java to make pop-ups. And about the greater and lesser. It's common to always put the greatest > value first. In programming the logic makes it possible to do it both ways, as programming is dynamic, and many times the values on both sides can be greater or lesser depending on what the values are for and how they are handled, so one cannot determain what value is the greater or lesser. But > is called greater and < is called lesser.
