one thing that's have been since i remember:

i use winamp to play songs from cd, 256 bitrate
it makes on normal cd ca 6 hours
if winamp plays continuosely ca 4 hours,
than time counter goes mad
i usually put counter on decreaced mode, i.e. to show time until the end of song, it will transform to 400 or 500, and stay in there, countdown is active but it in range 10 min. up or down
it looks funny and harmless but i guess that this is not the original point
eventually how it looks: number 505 is going down to 500, when new song starts, is starting number again 505
i have used different configurations and winampversions but it works quite same always

I have winamp playing 24x7, i play from the drive and 2 cd drives. I have never experianced this problem.
