Hi all - I'm trying to figure out how the hell to burn CD's with my burner. When I open CD Creator (program that came with burner)...when I go to drop the mp3's into the section where you set up your tracks..its saying invalid file extension, something about .wav file. I've heard I had to go download a plug-in in order for winamp to confer mp3's to wav files, is this true?
Will someone PLEASE help me out...I can't figure it out. I have 1000s of songs from napster on my PC and dont know how to make a damn CD. please email if anyone has a clue what im talking about? jenna |

You need a recent version of Easy CD Creator to add mp3 files. Older versions will only accept wave files.
You can convert mp3 files to wave by using Winamp with the Diskwriter plugin. This is included with Winamp. For instructions on how to use it, read the FAQ here - http://www.winamp.com/getwinamp/faq/...vlayout=normal |

The FAQ will tell you. Once the Diskwriter plugin is selected, play your mp3's in Winamp. The songs won't play but instead be converted to wave files.
Then add the waves in Easy CD Creator. |

You might want to have a look at this tutorial:
http://www.mp3illusion.com/mp3tocd.html <- thanks sawg! But be sure to read the FAQ (the link that Matt posted), too. I am Zorro! |

Jenna,
Just FYI...you might want to delete the .wav files once you're done with them...they take up a lot of space!
