GPF during playing mp3's

I have been getting General Protection Fault errors when running Winamp version 2.71.

I have noted these with or without running Shoutcast stream and seems to occur about 10 to 15 minutes into play.

The error is the typical Windows box which gives little information and causes the program to freeze and one is forced to close it with this error box.

Any ideas? I may try to get an older version to see if its code in 2.71 only.

that crash was inside mp3 codec used by shoutcast. that's all i can say (according to your info).
