Well it seems these people in canda do have us going all over the place. I was told by Socan I was free to broadcast without having to pay royalties because the tariff has not been approved. I was also told I only needed two licenses the Performing Right & The mechanical right because the Avla doesn't license Internet radio.
I know quite a bit about the canadian law towrds internet radio but I want to know if I got licensing with Loudcity if I would be considered legal or do I have to stick with the CMRRA & SOCAN to be fully legal?
I would also like to say the part about you having the file on the computer is bogus because belive most Isp pay a tarrif for music transfers (Bell Sympatico Does I Belive)
