He pulled off a Scot accent like no other and made me laugh on several occasions, most notably when he got drunk with an alien to the point of passing out in the originl series.

Was more of a Spock fan myself and McCoy allways gave me the creeps somehow. Scotty was like 'Ye lot haven't got a clue' (including the Captain). Played the part of an Exasperated Scotsman spot on.. Just texted my mate on it who is totally nuts on Star Trek (Even has a Picard Uniform - he's weird lol) Sad Loss

Aye, sad news indeed.
Still, look on the bright side, as a mate pointed out to me, even though his final years were blighted by alzheimers he was still rocking and rolling up to his 80th birthday, I hope I'm still knocking out kids like he was when I'm 80. |
