Equalizer failure with CD playback
Sorry, this may have been answered on a thread already but haven't had time to conduct a proper search.
Just downloaded and installed 5.09 and encountered problems with audio files which pause for 1-2 seconds after 2 seconds of playback. Followed the threads concerning 'Sonic Problems' (I have My DVD/Recordnow burning software) and reinstalled clean making sure I deselected the "Sonic Burning/Ripping" option. Thankfully, this issue has now been resolved. Problem now is the Winamp equalizer has been disabled in the process when I listen to audio CD playback but not MP3 files from my hard drive. This doesn't happen with any other media player. The solution may be obvious and I'd appreciate similar experiences shared here. |

You'll probably need wnaspi32.dll to be able to use Digital Audio Extraction (needed for equalizer and dsp plugins). Read the instructions in that thread where to get and put the dll file.

It works again. I updated the ASPI and now I'm fine. Thanks a bunch!
