Constant scrolling

Help! My newest Winamp version , which is the newest version currently available is not able to play my songs. It just keeps scrolling through them at about three per second. Even if I try to play just one, or get it to stop on a song and play it, Winamp just won't. What is wrong. Is something incorrectly on?

Seems to me like your files have been moved or deleted, and the Winamp playlist has incorrect file paths. The simple solution is to recreate your playlist, but you can also use Dynamic Library, which has a repair feature.

Hope this helps, jmat

Just go to Add > Folder or Add > File in the playlist editor, and navigate to the directory or individual file.

You can also go through My Computer and Windows.

Thank you, you are being very helpful! I have just deleted my list and put a few songs in Winamp to see how everything would go and it is not scrolling through them quickly know, but it does appear to be playing the songs, inaudibly in hyper speed. Is there a fix for that?

Hmm... make sure that in Preferences > Plug-ins > Output (right click anywhere in Winamp), that either waveOut (95-ME) or DirectSound (XP, 2000, 2003) is selected. Try then playing a new song. Does that help?
