Particular Plugin I lost.....

I didn't a couple short searches, but this is a really vague question....

My HD died, and I lost everything, including a plugin I loved. It was shareware/freeware I believe, and had MANY options. The one I liked was the fact that it utilized the Windows-key for shortcut commands that worked ANYWHERE...any game, and program....it would also display the song title in the bottom right of the screen, and if you wanted, the time of the song.....

If anyone knows what this is, could you please post the name of this plug-in here, so I can get it back? Thanks all!

Winamp 5.xx (Full, Bundle or Pro) already has the features you are talking about. You do not need the Pro bundle for the features.
  • Global Hotkeys
Winamp > Ctrl+P > General Preferences > Global Hotkeys > set to your heart's content
  • On Screen Display or Notifier
The Winamp Modern default skin has a built in Notifier
Winamp Modern Default - CONFIG button > \Options/ tab > scroll down to Notifications > set your prefered options.
Some third party modern skins also have Notifier type balloons
Otherwise, maybe one of the following plug-ins is what you had...
BlueAmp
TrayList
ControlAmp

Yup, your plug-in did come to mind when replying to Kobra293. However, I thought the plug-in that Kobra293 was talking about had its own playback hotkeys built in to the plug-in it self. It was Kobra293's reference to the Windows-keys that made me think it was another plug-in.

Well, have to wait for Kobra293's reply to see what the plug-in is.

Oh well Toaster uses the global hotkeys plugin and thus can use the windows key etc and 'work anywhere'. He didn't mention playback keys, tho Toaster does have 'toast next/previous song' and 'jump to displayed song' and rating hotkeys.
