I've might have found a bug in "in_mp3.dll".
When playing MP3s created with lame 3.96.1 (and all versions including MP3-gain) the volume is going up and down from time to time.

Old versions of in_mp3.dll don't have this problem.
I am using "waveout" not "directsound output".
The problem is reproduceable on "directsound output".

System:
Windows XP SP2
ASUS P4C800-E, Intel P4 3.6 GHz, 1024mb RAM
Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro, latest ATI drivers
Creative Audigy2 ZS, latest official drivers
DirectX latest (is it 9.1?)
Nullsoft MPEG Audio Decoder 3.3 [in_mp3.dll]
