Docking on multiple monitors

Hiya,

I have two monitors running on Windows XP SP2. The video card is an ATI Radeon 9600. I am running Winamp v5.094 with the Winamp modern skin. Under menu item Window Settings/Docked Toolbar, there are the following options "Top", "Left", "Right", "Bottom" and "Not docked". "Left" and "Right" are disabled. When I select "Bottom", Winamp docks to the bottom of my primary monitor. Is there any way to get Winamp to be docked to the bottom of the secondary monitor? I can position the bar correctly, and set it to always be "Always on top", but without the ability to dock the toolbar, maximized windows will be hidden underneath the dock.

Does anyone have any advice or opinions?

Thanks,
Sam

Same thing happens with 5.12 on my XP sp2 with nVidia GeForce4 card and dual monitors. Only I want to dock Winamp to the top of my secondary monitor.

i believe it's an OS api limitation which will only allow an appbar (which is what the docked modes are) to be docked on the primary monitor (where the taskbar is)

NACK. Other programs (e.g. Trillian [3.1 build 121]) manage that just fine and can dock at either edge of any monitor and provide the full functionality one would expect of docked windows. I take that as an indication that the API is not a limiting factor here.

Oh, and my 2c: I have the same issue with
- Windows XP Pro SP2,
- an ATI X800 using the Omega 6.3 drivers,
- and two LCD panels hooked up via DVI [primary] and VGA [secondary],
- both of them being set to their native resolutions of 1280x1024 pixels.
- The primary display is center, the secondary one left of it.

It would be really great since I use my 2nd screen as a misc screen such as MSN, and open browsers. Would be really great to place winamp there too.

Please!!! Make this feature work!!
