Firewall with SHOUTcast

I have a firewall, and it is not allowing me to watch the TV and some music channels. I know it is my firewall, because it works with my dial-up connection, which doesn't have a firewall, but my satellite won't play it. I can't turn off my firewall because my dad wants it on, so is there anything I can do so I can see the TV and the other radio stations that I cannot see?
