DSP Plug-in Issues
Hey, I downloaded the Volume Leveler 6.4 by Abe3k. I've run through all the plugin installation threads I could find, and nothing that hits my subject. I download the program, unzip and stick it in the DSP_SPS folder in the plugin directory. There are no readme files or any sort of documentation to enlighten myself with, so when I open up my DSP preferences and see nothing but a Nullsoft Signal Processing Studio plugin, confusion ensues. I can't find anything to manual import plugins into the list, and it doesn't seem to be a 'stand-alone' program - I see no icons in the systray nor anywhere else. The file itself is called 'ABE3K - Compressor 6.4.sps', so my immediate assumption is that Windows isn't reading it correctly because of the extra period. But then again, I have NO idea how Windows likes to work, or rather, how Windows manages to work. But either way, I cannot seem to locate it anywhere in the plugin options area, and nothing I read seems to point me in any solid direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If the filename ends in .sps, it's a Signal Processing Studio preset. It will not show up in the plugins list since it's not a plugin.
Open Preferences (Ctrl+P) > DSP/Effect > select 'Nullsoft Signal Processing Studio' > hit 'Configure' button > click 'Load' > load your preset Afterwards, you'll have to make sure 'Enable processing' is checked and then the preset should work... |
