Password invalid!

Try and try again, I keep changing the password on my server, saving it in the text editor, killing the server, and I keep trying to connect to the server only to find apparently that the password is incorrect on the plugin configurations! Even though I copy it directly from the server config, the password is still invalid! And I don't know what to do. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what was going on. Or if it is just something really simple that is just going over my head.
