Dynamic IP

I have set up the Shoutcast server program on my PC.
Me and a few others (from various other places around the world) are interesting in doing a radio station for one of our favorite websites.
Does it matter that I have a dynamic IP? Only problem I see is that I will have to inform the others of my new IP address if it changes.

How would I go about setting up a static IP address?

And if it's any easier how would I find a server willing to host our station??
