Ripping Output problem
A while back when I ripped cd's with winamp, it would make a folder for the mp3s, but doesnt anymore IE: i would set in preferences to rip to c:/windows/desktop/mp3s/rock/ lets say. in the rock folder it would make a new folder when i ripped that had the name of the artists and the album name. now all it does is creates the mp3's and playlist files all in c:/windows/desktop/mp3s/rock/ and doesn't put them in folders. it was much easier to keep them organized that way. is this some preference i'm missing or has the function been changed and/or taken out in newer versions of winamp? thanks

Please paste your current settings from the two "specify destination folder" and "specify naming convention" fields in Winamp > Prefs (Ctrl+P) > CD Ripping > Output File Settings tab.
To get it to do what you want, field #1 should be: C:\Windows\Desktop\mp3s (note, this folder must already exist) and field #2 should be something like: <Genre>\<Artist - Album>\## - <Title> (note the backslashes which separates\specifies the subfolders then the filename) |
