5.1 sound sytem: only the front speakers working

hey guys!!! I have a new 5.1 sound system and a new soundcard (creative live! 24 bit)! I think everything is correctly installed because in the test every speaker, also the subwoofer, works! but when i play an audio file with winamp only the 2 front speakers work. I allready read that you have to activate "hardware acceleration" in winamp and of course 5.1 sound in windows... but nevertheless it doesn't work!!!

PLZ help me

I had the same problem at first. Try viewing the equalizer, turn it on, and then load a preset. It worked perfectly for me after that!
