Autoload preset on the EQ not resetting

My old version of winamp (I don't know which one) would reset the preamp to the middle position after a song with an autoload preset changed it. The newest version does not. Thus, if I save an auto load preset for a song that has a high volume level by lowering the preamp, the next song that comes on will be too quiet because the preamp stays low. Is anyone else having this problem?

greatness -

Set the EQ sliders to the centered position (or however you want to set your "neutral" setting), then click on the Presets button, and select Save => Default. Make sure that the EQ's Off/On and Auto buttons are both ON. Now, the EQ will use your default preset for any song that does not have its own autoload preset.
