Can't talk while music plays.

I can give you the answer, had this problem myself you see.

Go to input, click open mixer. It should open two boxes, make sure your mic is not mute, then close that one, the next shout be a record control, select the one on the very left, called either stereo mix, or record master. But be aware, the listeners can hear every little noise your computer makes.

EDIT: Oh, just watched the video..... Basically says the exact same thing I do.
