k so i found this really cool skin that i downloaded from a website...it was a zip file...i saved it onto my desktop and then unzipped it...so now what? how come i can't select that skin on winamp? do my questions even make sense? i have no idea what i'm doing...help...please...

Nope you've saved it in the wrong place. You need to save it in your default winamp skins directory, usualy it's
c:\program files\winamp\skins Save it in there, then open winamp up, and do either of the following. Right mouse click and scroll down to "skins", it should then give you a list of what skins you have saved, just select whichever one you want. or Press ALT+S whilst winamp is active, again this will bring up a list of skins you have,select and close, and there you go. Back to the day job ![]() |

just to make one point a little clearer - save the ZIP file in the c:\program files\winamp\skins directory. you don't actually have to unzip the file at all, just leave the zip file as it is. Then follow the instructions that Mr Jones gave to select your new skin.
