Predixis can't find music.

When I try to scan my library with MusicMagic it says there is only one song: Weezer - Undone-The Sweater Song. It scans it and then stops. I have a lot more songs than that one.

The logex.txt just says

"Mon Oct 24 12:05:57 2005
[0:10] Fingerprinted: Undone-The Sweater Song.wma"

Any idea why it can't see any more songs?

What file format are these songs?
Predixis only supports MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG, FLAC, & WAV.

Ahh! I was just quoting from the predixis site.
Hmm, well, that's a bit sucky isn't it, especially seeing about one quarter of my collection is in .ogg, heh.

The formats are MP3 and WMA. I reinstalled Winamp but that didn't help. And if I take the Sweater Song away it says there are no songs available, Then I put it back and it says there is 1. But the rest of the Media Library has no trouble seeing or playing the other music.

Are the file extensions uppercase, or lowercase? Is there anything unusual about the paths (network mounts, etc?)

Extensions are lowercase. All music is just in the My Music folder. MusicMagic was working fine before. I was messing with Winamp settings/files or reinstalling Winamp 5.1 for the 15th time because because it constantly crashed on startup and reinstalling Winamp or temporarily removing the plugin folder seemed to be the only way to fix it. Sometime in there Predexis stopped working. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled a clean copy of Winamp 5.111 which seems to have fixed the problem of Winamp killing itself - although it still crashes way more than 5.0x ever did - but Predixis doesn't even try to give an option to scan for music or mention anything about music being available to scan now.

Oh, but now the Predixis folder has a log.txt file which says only "Invalid registration key."

That message is irrelevant for the plugin, which doesn't use registration keys (the plugin uses the same core as the standalone app). What does the About dialog show (right-click on Predixis MusicMagic in the media library tree).
