Question Windows version requirements?

I recently found NSIS, and am thrilled! Thanks for making this available.

I understand that NSIS installation programs can be run on any version of Windows, all the way back to Windows 95? Are there any requirements, like do they have to have a certain version of the Windows Installer? Does NSIS even use Windows Installer? If not, what does it use?

Thanks in advance if you can clear this up for me, I've searched the docs, FAQs, and this message board un-successfully.

Thanks,
Mark

NSIS should work on all version of Windows, and does not require Windows Installer or any other external applications to run by default.

Thanks for clearing that up. It is rather amazing to me that so much functionality can be packed into only 35KB or so...

Thanks,
Mark
