Very briefly as I'm sure its been asked before. I can't find the answer
1. I can download a wsz file into my skins directory 2. However my winamp just refuses to pick them up. What I have checked 1. That the skins browser is pointing to the current directory. Other than that I don't know what to do. Have I just been lucky in the skins I have downloaded? The only skins that have worked are those that downloaded BOTH a zip file and a wsz file to my skins directory. I am running WINAMP 2.5 Lite Thanks Simpler |

Thanks for all your help. I have renamed the files from wsz to zip and winamp 2.5 picks them up now.
Thanks very much. |

Interesting...Winamp has had .wsz support since version 2.24, you shouldn't have to rename any of your skins to .zip to have them enabled in Winamp.
The only other thing I can think of is......do you have a directory in Windows called: Windows\Temp\_wasktemp ? This is the folder that Winamp uses to temporarily decompress skin files. The contents are automatically deleted when you exit Winamp. If this folder doesn't exist or has been deleted then you won't be able to use .wsz skins.
