hey im the kinda guy who doesn't like doing things the easy way...
well ive started skinning and the hardest part about it to me is getting all the stuff in the right spot. like my title bars are too big and my other stuff is alwayz off center. I was wondering if there was anything out there like a already made .bmp tat shows where the stuff goes or something like that. I am using Adobe Imageready 2.0 |

Well i think the easiest way is to download the base skin. If you have already just ignore this reply. It has all the .bmp files that you can use to draw over. If you click on the developer section on the site, then click Winamp 2x, then base skin and you can it there. Good luck.

a better skin to download is called designme. It's a winamp skin that has all the key areas highlighted in contrasting bright colours. This makes the skin look like shit, but from a design point of view it's an advantage, because the boundaries between key areas can be clearly seen.
The skin itself isn't on the winamp site, but it can be found at http://www.skinz.org Like my photography? Buy some here.... |
