Certain this has been asked a dozen times but cannot find a similar questions on the forums. So...

Can Winamp convert CD tracks to MP3 files?

I would like to convert some of my CD collection to MP3. I know winamp can play back MP3. But can it convert?

Your help as always greatly appreciated

You can, it takes too much work tehn it is worth. try a program like CDex: http://www.cdex.n3.net
