Since I use the wimamp agent to start my winamp session, I see no use to have the app itself visible in the taskbar or the system tray.
Choosing "None" in prefs->Options->Display->"Show Winamp in:" does just that, although upon restarting winamp it ignores my setting and shows up in the taskbar anyway. I then have to reselect the "None" option in the prefs to make it go away. regards /Kristofer - running WinNT4. |

Well, it sure doesn't work for me!
Running v2.71 om an english NT4 sp6. It seems to be a awkward bug since when restarting winamp, the taskbar 'thingy' doesn't contain the graphical icon, only the text "Winamp 2.71". Since reselecting the "None" option helps, the problem can be solved, but it needs some programming on your side. By the way, this issue did not begin with this version. Someone else has to be able to reproduce this bug...! |

Since I'm in France, I guess we're on the same side of the Atlantic ocean
![]() I can't think of anything regarding your problem right now. Maybe someone will have an idea in the meantime... |
