You know, I told him to post this in the Bitchlist. But, nooooo he doesn't listen to me. Of course not! He's male and married, he's lost his sense of hearing.

I would have said "BAN HIS NON-APPRECIATING ASS!", but, umm, that would affect my account

Actually I have just mentioned that it has been reported, when replying to "Winamp Lite won't play WMA" threads. I would have reported it if I felt that I would not be wasting my time.

This Winamp Lite WMA issue has been a big pain in the ass for forum moderators, members and Winamp users.

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

Sorry. I was saying the 'tech support' llama is Mike. Not whoever Hugh is. I should have removed the hi hugh comment from my quote.

I just don't see why this guy is so pissed about. 2 simples things:
1 - WMA format sucks
2 - He isn't paying for anything so why is he so pissed about "false advertising"?

to be honest I'm surprised that anyone uses WMA anymore. ever since I ripped my first cd in aacplus I'm not even using mp3 anymore ... just accplus (44.1/dual channel)and ogg 1.1

but obviously, if it was advertised as being able to play wma it should.

Yeah, I guess the next obvious solution would be to just include the WMA decoder in Winamp Lite... >_> Though I'm sure there's a good reason it isn't in there, such as the devs wanting the Lite install to be in a particular size range...

Erm, Dual Channel was designed for stuff like multi-language soundtracks, for music it's even more inefficient than Stereo Independent.

Go manipulate my a**

Just to have a question to the geeks and freaks that surf on a AOL website that call themselves "community" (i call them victims) why does winamp have to connect to the internet?
I do not know why it should do that. Who has an interest on what i am playing. this decade will turn the page at least mofos

I still can't transcode my DRM WMA files, but at least it's no longer the fault of the Winamp checklist page.

It should also be noted that Craig was wrong in his most recent post in this thread.
