Can't see video in NSV stream
I can't get the video for streams that require h.264 video in them, the sound plays fine, but the video doesn't.
What other codecs are being used in NSV (I thought it was only VP3 and VP6 that came with Winmap) and how do I add them to Winamp? Also, reading the Known ways to get banned from the Media Library listing, and seeing that lack of content advertising only streams is a way to get banned, can I propose to ban 'Anime' as a category? Pretty much anytime I use Shoutcast TV I get a lot of streams with a variety of names, all with 'Anime' as a category and all carrying constant still adverts for the same site. |

We don't ship a H.264 nsv decoder library with Winamp, as it would require special licensing.
In theory, any codec can be used inside of NSV (unless it's bitstream format is too strange - but I can't think of any examples) |

Hi everyone:
Hey Benski...A couple quick questions since you're on the Dev. Team.... 1). See the questions in the thread entitled CAPTURING SKYPE VIDEO (Several of them are there so I won't bother repeating them here as some of them are totally unrelated to the topic at hand). ![]() 2). Do you have any umm...."Inside info." as to when we might expect to see native support for H.264/x264 built into Winamp? 3). Do you have any idea as to when we might expect native NSV support within the DNAS like we already have had in the actual server itself? I ask this because A LOT (make that almost ALL of us) are having to use Ken's or Slavas' GUI to stream stuff other than a webcam. I'm sure you get bombarded with tons more questions, but if you could answer these, it'd be MOST appreciated.
