no.....i dont know~~
Because i need to install winamp in school's computers for teaching sound editing(using plugin)~ Are u sure that can install in window NT? |

as long as you're running a fully updated NT4 setup then there should be no real issues that i can think of other than when trying to use the directsound output plugin (which requires DirectX 8 and from what i can see NT4 only supports DirectX 3 so you'd need to make sure to use the wave output plugin).

I was messing around on a friend's old NT4 box and it does install but like DrO said ya can't use the directsound output plugin. It locks up on me then just quits without an error message, but it works fine using the wave output plugin.
but if you could upgrade the computers to Win2K Pro then you could still use the directsound output plugin, but I would imagine that it wouldn't be that important to ya. |
