Digital Sound?

Is there a plugin for winamp5 so that I can get digital sound out of my optical cable?

not really

but if you have a sound card that can do hardware mixing, you can configure that so that it may do digital output, then enable hardware mixing with winamp's direct show output plug-in

It's just... I saw a dvd yesterday, and there did stand "digital" on my Logitech Z5500, but when I hear music, it only says Stereo..
