configure AMIP plug-in
I'm trying to configure AMIP and mIRC to display the time into a song when someone types the command !time . I'm really new at this so a step-by-step would be very helpful.
I can get AMIP to display the song I'm playing when it starts but sometimes a few of us listen to a cd and someone comes in late and needs to know how far into a song everybody is and it would be alot easier to have a command to do that automatically. Do i have to configure both AMIP and mIRC. I'm too lame to do it myself. thanks for your help unclebernie |

yes
as a matter of fact, you don't even have to configure AMIP itself; just mIRC go up to tools -> script editor -> aliases and add the following line F12 /me $dde(mPlug,format,"is_listening_to_%1_-_%2_-_%4[%pm:%ps/%min:%sec]_%br_kbps/%sr_khz_(%ext)") which will display "<nickname> is listening to <Artist> - <Title> - <Album>[MinuatesPlayed:SecondsPlayedd/MinutesInSong:SecondsInSong] BitRates kbpos / SampleRate khz (FileExtension) for example The Monkey is listening to VNV Nation - Solitary - Praise the Fallen [03:29/7:29] 256 kbps/ 44khz (mpc) ...will display after pressing the F12 key just look in the variable list if you want to change that
